Strain with what? I also don’t get a ton of flavor. I used my tea strainer originally and it didn’t work well to keep the chai in.

Hi Tess,
Did you boil the milk+water before adding the tea? Once the tea is added, bring the mix to a rolling boil again and then count your 3 minutes. If your tea strainer is not fine enough, you can always use a cheese cloth. Please let me know how this turns out to be. Will be waiting to hear back! I’ve had all kinds of chai at countless coffee shops across the country and this is by far my favorite one! My daughter bought the unsweetened masala chai mix for me for Christmas and I’m so glad she found your company!! In addition to making it at home for myself, I’d love to enjoy it at a local coffee shop, as well. Where can I find it? (Central or eastern MA)

I got this as part of the commonwealth kitchen gift box that I received as an xmas gift. I’ve made chai at home from tea bags before, but it doesn’t even come close to this! It’s so easy to make. I boil in a pot than dump the whole mix in my French press to strain it and keep it warm. I will definitely be ordering more!
